No statutory right of withdrawal for stay-related additional services

There is no statutory right of withdrawal for contracts for additional services provided in connection with a specifically booked stay at one of the STEIGER Hotels, provided that the service is intended for a specific date or period.

This applies in particular to additional services and amenities such as breakfast, birthday, children’s, pet, provisioning, comfort and other hotel services that are ordered for a specific stay, a specific arrival day, day of stay or period of stay.

The exclusion of the right of withdrawal is based on Section 312g (2) No. 9 of the German Civil Code (BGB). Accordingly, there is no right of withdrawal for contracts for the provision of services in the areas of accommodation for purposes other than residential purposes, the supply of food and beverages, and other services related to leisure activities, if the contract provides for a specific date or period for performance.

Orders in the upgrade shop are therefore binding. Changes or cancellations of individual additional services are only possible insofar as this is provided for in the respective service descriptions, booking conditions or cancellation conditions, or is confirmed by us as a gesture of goodwill.
